‘Sanuk’ is the Thai word for
fun, and this bar of the same name certainly delivers a pleasant and relaxed
atmosphere. Located on the main road of Klong Dao beach, proprietor Eddie
and his staff will almost bend over backwards to ensure you feel welcome and
comfortable. Sanuk Bar serves drinks and food, and stays open throughout
the year with earlier closing times during green season. |

Bambie’s
Situated on the main road at the start of Phra Ae beach, Bambie’s is a small
and intimate bar offering a warm and friendly environment. Take a drink on
the outside terrace and flirt with the staff as you watch the world pass
by. |

|
Rosie’s Bar
Well-known throughout Ko Lanta for her humour and effervescent nature, Rosie
delights in greeting new customers, as well as welcoming back regular
clients. Providing drinks, food and thoroughly engaging banter, her bar is
also located on the main street at Phra Ae, just by the turning for Relax
Bay. |
Big fun had by all at
Rosie’s 2007 Grand Opening, following renovations.

Where Else
Set on Klong Kong beachfront, Where Else is a small resort with family-run
bar and restaurant. Rebuilt post-tsunami from debris and other materials
washed up by the ocean, the décor is unique and the atmosphere relaxed and
calming. |

|
I-Bark
Located at the south of the island, I-Bark (Krabi backwards) is Lanta’s
nightclub proper. With regular occasion-nights including valentine and
summer specials, it draws resident and guest DJ’s and a mixed crowd of
partygoers. Arrange transport home by tuk-tuk beforehand, leaving you free
to sample their cocktail menu and dance the night away. |
